James has been public speaking since 2002. In that time, James has presented at nearly 90 school wide assemblies, business presentations, athletic team meetings and community events.
With each booking, James provides an organizationally personalized reminder of each event to every participant that attends the presentation.

James has an M.S. +45 in Kinesiology and Health promotion with a Specialty in Sport Psychology from the University of North Texas and B.S. in Health and Physical Education from The College of New Jersey. Jim also received two Minors in Psychology with, both, his Undergraduate and Graduate, degrees. Jim has been an educator for 36 years. During his time in education, Jim earned the distinction of being recognized as the “Teacher of the Year” and has also been nominated for the Disney National Teacher of the Year award. Jim has taught and/or coached at every level of education. Jim was a Graduate Assistant for two years at the University of North Texas where he taught many of the Health and Physical Education courses to undergraduate students. Jim has spent 34 years teaching at the elementary school level while coaching, both Wrestling and Baseball, at (both) the Middle and High School levels for many years. Jim's passion for helping others become their best, has also lead him into the fields of Strength and Conditioning as a Personal Trainer for individuals and teams. As well as a Health Coach; Which he still continues today! Today, James offers his "Motivational Minute" with hundreds of quick, inspirational nuggets on Instagram.
In addition to Jim’s teaching and coaching roles, Jim was also the Character Education coordinator in his school for nine (9) years. In that time Jim was in charge of organizing and holding monthly character education assemblies. The topics included, but were not limited to, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Honesty, Effort, Teamwork, Perseverance and Perspective to name a few. In those years as Character Ed facilitator, as well as the years since, Jim has been the featured speaker in nearly ninety (90) school assemblies and presentations. With the changing climate in schools today, where safety of students and student welfare are a great concern, Jim believed it was time to take his message to a larger audience and begin speaking in schools, at student assemblies and staff meetings alike, across the Tri-state area.
